PSE&G Hudson Project Station
In 2009, PSEG Fossil, LLC began a Backend Technology Project at their Hudson Generating Station Unit #2 to overhaul the power plant and add environmental controls to reduce pollution. AmQuip Crane Rental LLC, who was onsite approximately 2 years was the main crane supplier, providing multiple crawler cranes including several 2250’s with Luffing jib, an LR1400 with Superlift, a 21000 with Maxer, and a 16000, in addition to numerous other hydraulic cranes up to the Grove GMK7550 with Mega Wing and Luffing Jib. In addition to rentals with PSEG Fossil, LLC direct, AmQuip’s Northeast sales team worked with and supplied cranes to multiple subcontractors supporting the project. All safety requirements and quality assurance programs were adhered to throughout the project.
