AmQuip and its Liebherr LTC 1045-4.1 truck mounted crane lends support to Hopewell Valley's 9/11 Emergency Responder Memorial Committee (New Jersey).
The Committee was awarded the 10 ton portion of a support column at the World Trade Center in 2011. The artifact was unveiled on the 10th Anniversary Ceremony located within Hopewell Valley's Alliger Park and stored until the memorial site was prepared.
On Friday, April 13, 2012, the beam was placed as a symbol of the lives lost that day, including the heroes who died attempting to save those trapped in the World Trade Center. "This symbol will help us never to forget that solemn day", says Hopewell Township Mayor Jim Burd.
