AmQuip Safety Experience - Best in Class

AmQuip Crane Rental, LLC. works in numerous states and subsequently has developed an Experience Modification Rating (EMR) factors for those states. An EMR of 1.0 is considered average. AmQuip’s multistate experience would reflect an EMR of .762 for the 2009 policy periods. This type of experience rating is almost unheard of. These results show AmQuip’s commitment to safety and to its people.

AmQuip and its employees take safety serious. Our safety culture begins at the top. In order for our employees to buy into our safety program and philosophies, they MUST see the rest of the management team out in front leading the safety effort. Safety has to be more than a priority. It has to be a core value.

Implementation of a complete Safety, Risk & Claims Management department has led the way in protecting AmQuip’s employees. Implementation of leading edge risk & safety programs has made the difference for AmQuip. These programs include: Supervisor Training in Accident Reduction Techniques (START), Drug and Alcohol Testing, Safety Measurements & Metrics, Incentive Programs, and Employee Training. These programs make Amquip Best in Class when it comes to safety.

These programs work, as noted by the following accomplishment. AmQuip Achieves Platinum Designation by Harvard Contractor Safety Assessment Program. The assessment performed by ConstructSecure, Inc., measures both historical performance and forward-looking factors within a company's safety program. AmQuip scored in excess of 95% demonstrating outstanding performance.
