AmQuip is honored to receive recognition from the Sunoco Marcus Hook Refinery for being one-year injury free. This acknowledgement serves as a testament to AmQuip’s safety culture being alive and working to keep its employees safe and injury free.

Congratulations to Ed Sylvester, William Haag and Charlie Daniels who are the proud recipients of SC&RA’s Million Miler Award for Safety Excellence. The Million Miler Safety Award is given for accumulating a minimum of one million consecutive miles accident free consistent with FMCSA 385.3 and 390.5 definitions.

AmQuip is honored to have been selected for this prestigious award each year 2007-2011. The companies selected for this award are transportation and rigging companies from across the country who lead their industry in the safe execution of their work each day and we are proud to be one of them. This special recognition is given to companies who exhibit superior safety performance in a given year for meeting criteria for incident rates and workman's compensation experience modification rates.

In addition to being recognized in 2010 for outstanding safety performance, we were further honored with the selection of the Safety improvement award. This award further acknowledges our approach to safety perfection is a never ending journey of continuous improvement. Something we fully understand has no finish line however strive in our everyday pursuit for creative ways of executing safe performance in our industry. This special recognition is given to companies that show improved incidence rate performance compared to previous years entry.

AmQuip is honored to have received this award six times over the recent years at projects where we have worked at least 50,000 exposure hours or more in the calendar year without having a single recordable injury. Even more proud are we understanding that this award specifically represents our partnerships between Labor and management, working together to safely execute our crane rental services, while providing professionally skilled operating engineers from the International Union of Operating Engineers local offices within the geographic footprint of the respective project. AmQuip is one of the largest employers in the country of Operating Engineers and know these accomplishments would not be possible without their talent, skill, professionalism as well as their commitment to working safely.
